Purbanchal Kalibari Samity, New Ashok Nagar, Delhi, is one of the leading Bengali socio-cultural and religious institutions in the National Capital Region. Since its establishment, the Samity has remained dedicated to preserving the timeless spiritual, cultural and humanitarian values of India through worship, service and community participation.

With the divine blessings of Maa Kali, the Samity conducts daily worship and celebrates major Hindu festivals including Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Kojagori Lakshmi Puja, Saraswati Puja, Shivaratri, Janmashtami, Dol Purnima, Jagaddhatri Puja, Annapurna Puja and several other religious observances with devotion and grandeur.

Beyond religious activities, Purbanchal Kalibari has evolved into a vibrant centre of cultural excellence and community service. Throughout the year, the Samity organises devotional programmes, cultural events, educational initiatives, medical camps, charitable activities and national celebrations that bring together people from all walks of life.

45 Glorious Years of Durga Puja (1981–2026)

The year 2026 marks the Sapphire Jubilee of our Durga Puja—a remarkable milestone celebrating 45 years of devotion, tradition, culture and community service.

What began in 1981 as the collective aspiration of a handful of devoted families has today grown into one of Delhi's respected Durga Puja celebrations, welcoming thousands of devotees every year.

As we celebrate this historic occasion, we invite devotees, members, former residents, well-wishers and friends from across India and the world to join us in making this landmark year truly memorable.

পূর্বাঞ্চল কালীবাড়ি সমিতি, নিউ অশোক নগর, দিল্লি, জাতীয় রাজধানী অঞ্চলের অন্যতম অগ্রণী বাঙালি ধর্মীয়, সামাজিক ও সাংস্কৃতিক প্রতিষ্ঠান। প্রতিষ্ঠালগ্ন থেকে সমিতি ভারতীয় চিরন্তন আধ্যাত্মিক আদর্শ, বাঙালির সমৃদ্ধ সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্য এবং ‘শিবজ্ঞানে জীবসেবা’-র মহান আদর্শকে ধারণ করে উপাসনা, সমাজসেবা ও জনসম্পৃক্ততার মাধ্যমে সমাজকল্যাণে আত্মনিয়োগ করে আসছে।

মা কালীর অশেষ কৃপায় পূর্বাঞ্চল কালীবাড়িতে প্রতিদিন নিয়মিতভাবে মা কালী, ভগবান শিব ও শ্রীশ্রী রাধা-কৃষ্ণ-এর পূজা ও আরাধনা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। পাশাপাশি প্রতি বছর অত্যন্ত ভক্তি ও আড়ম্বরের সঙ্গে শ্রীশ্রী দুর্গাপূজা, কালীপূজা, কোজাগরী লক্ষ্মীপূজা, সরস্বতীপূজা, মহাশিবরাত্রি, জন্মাষ্টমী, দোলপূর্ণিমা, জগদ্ধাত্রীপূজা, অন্নপূর্ণাপূজা এবং অন্যান্য ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান উদ্‌যাপিত হয়।

ধর্মীয় কর্মকাণ্ডের পাশাপাশি পূর্বাঞ্চল কালীবাড়ি আজ এক প্রাণবন্ত সাংস্কৃতিক ও সামাজিক প্রতিষ্ঠানে পরিণত হয়েছে। বছরব্যাপী সমিতির উদ্যোগে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ভক্তিমূলক অনুষ্ঠান, ধর্মীয় আলোচনা, সাংস্কৃতিক সন্ধ্যা, সাহিত্যচর্চা, স্বাস্থ্য শিবির, সাপ্তাহিক দাতব্য চিকিৎসালয়, শিক্ষা ও সমাজকল্যাণমূলক কর্মসূচি, জাতীয় দিবস উদ্‌যাপন এবং নানা মানবিক উদ্যোগ, যেখানে ধর্ম, ভাষা, বর্ণ বা প্রাদেশিক পরিচয়ের ঊর্ধ্বে উঠে সকলের অংশগ্রহণ আমাদের সমৃদ্ধ করে।

নীলা জয়ন্তী উদ্‌যাপন

শ্রীশ্রী দুর্গাপূজার ৪৫ গৌরবময় বর্ষ (১৯৮১–২০২৬)

২০২৬ সাল পূর্বাঞ্চল কালীবাড়ির ইতিহাসে এক গৌরবময় অধ্যায়। এ বছর আমরা শ্রদ্ধা, ভক্তি ও গর্বের সঙ্গে উদ্‌যাপন করছি শ্রীশ্রী দুর্গাপূজার নীলা জয়ন্তী—একটানা ৪৫ গৌরবময় বছরের এক ঐতিহাসিক মাইলফলক।

১৯৮১ সালে অল্প কয়েকটি বাঙালি পরিবারের সম্মিলিত উদ্যোগে যে দুর্গাপূজার সূচনা হয়েছিল, আজ তা দিল্লির অন্যতম শ্রদ্ধেয় ও সুপরিচিত দুর্গাপূজাগুলির মধ্যে একটি। প্রতি বছর হাজার হাজার ভক্ত, দর্শনার্থী ও শুভানুধ্যায়ীর উপস্থিতিতে এই উৎসব এক মহামিলনের রূপ ধারণ করে।

এই ঐতিহাসিক বর্ষ উদ্‌যাপনের শুভক্ষণে আমরা দেশ-বিদেশে বসবাসকারী সকল ভক্ত, সদস্য, প্রাক্তন অধিবাসী, শুভানুধ্যায়ী ও বন্ধুদের আন্তরিক আহ্বান জানাই—আসুন, আপনাদের উপস্থিতি, সহযোগিতা ও আশীর্বাদে নীলা জয়ন্তী বর্ষকে স্মরণীয় করে তুলি।

‘শিবজ্ঞানে জীবসেবা’—এই মহান ভারতীয় আদর্শে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে পূর্বাঞ্চল কালীবাড়ি কেবল একটি উপাসনালয় হয়ে থাকতে চায় না। আমাদের লক্ষ্য এমন একটি জীবন্ত আধ্যাত্মিক, সাংস্কৃতিক ও সামাজিক প্রতিষ্ঠান গড়ে তোলা—

• যেখানে প্রবীণরা পান সম্মান, সান্নিধ্য ও আত্মিক আশ্রয়।

• যেখানে অসহায় ও অভাবগ্রস্ত মানুষ সহানুভূতি, সহযোগিতা ও মানবিক সেবা লাভ করেন।

• যেখানে সমাজ ঐক্য, সম্প্রীতি, পারস্পরিক শ্রদ্ধা ও মানবসেবার বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হয়।

আমাদের দীর্ঘমেয়াদি পরিকল্পনার অন্যতম লক্ষ্য ‘সৎসঙ্গ ভবন-সহ ধর্মশালা’ প্রতিষ্ঠা, যা ভবিষ্যতে ধর্মীয়, সাংস্কৃতিক, শিক্ষামূলক ও সমাজকল্যাণমূলক কর্মকাণ্ডের এক স্থায়ী কেন্দ্র হিসেবে গড়ে উঠবে।
